Dr. Donald E. Knight is a registered Psychology Associate with the State of Maryland, who serves as the Chief Operating Officer as well as Co-Owner at Fetherson & Knight Psychological Services, LLC. He earned his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University and completed his pre-doctoral internship at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC-Charlotte) Counseling Center. His work with clients centers issues of adjustment, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships, men and masculinity, and trauma (i.e., associated with individuals from minoritized groups), to mention a few. While effective at using different empirically-based approaches to treatment, he describes his therapeutic style as a culturally-responsive integration between the cognitive and the interpersonal.
